- MEET CALATHEA GREY TAR! Native to the tropical Americas, many of the species are popular as pot plants due to their decorative leaves and, in some species, colorful inflorescence. They are commonly called calatheas or (like their relatives) prayer plants.
- STAR OF ZEBRAS! The various Calathea varieties have leaves with a purple undersides and various vibrant colorful patterns on the top side. Indoors, a Calathea is a table plant or short bush that rarely gets bigger than 24” tall and 24”-26” wide.
- PEACOCK PLANT - PET FRIENDLY! A Calathea Plant likes bright indirect light; Keep the soil of a Calathea Plant moist but never soggy. Calathea Plants like temperatures between 65°-80° F degrees, and do not like cold drafts or temperatures below 55°-60° F degrees.
- PLANT SIZES INCL. POT! 4” plants are between 6''-12'' tall and 6'' plants between 12''-24''. They are shipped in custom boxes to ensure a healthy delivered plant.

Thirsty Leaves ships anywhere in the continental US. We ship year-round, even during the winter, with only minor exceptions for extreme weather cases. We will generally process your order for shipment in 1 to 2 business days from the time it was placed. Then once shipped, the order arrives within 4 business days. We charge $3 shipping costs for orders below $40.
In wintertime we will include a heath-pack in the packaging to esure a healthy delivery of your plant.
Your order can be shipped via FedEx Express for a guaranteed faster shipping time. Add express shipping for as little as $4.99. Express shipments arrive within 3 business days (transit time). Your express order will be processed within 36 hours and shipped with FedEx Express. Our goal is to create the fastest plant delivery service possible.
Packaging & Guarantee
